My traditional artworks have: architectural subjects as their theme. My favourite  subjects are old buildings & doorways. They are memories of places that  I have visited throughout Europe, the Americas & the Caribbean.  Often there are two  impressions of the subject, the 'now' and another of 'how it might have been' originally. I pay homage to the original craftsmen who built them by revealing the simple elegance that once existed. One day those beautiful wooden doors will all be gone replaced by plastic ones. The subject will always be the principle component of the artwork with the sky & background having a subordinate role.
