The Art of Phil Kendall is about sharing some of his memories of places found while exploring the world. That world of the tourist is littered with people, street architecture, TV aerials, advertising hoardings, parked vehicles, wires, pylons, trees etc. All of which spoil those personal souvenir photographs. There is just too little time to accurately record those scenes as anything but a series of digital photographs before hurrying on.
